Reading Classics responds to a brief to design and produce a series of six annotated classic books. The design should adapt to different types of material which may be presented in complex texts – introductions, footnotes, explanatory notes, translations and bibliographies. My design included modern elements such as a slim format, lowercase and sans-serif titles and a left-aligned text block. The series is accompanied by a typesetting specification.
